This age old treatment is fantastic for relaxing the back, neck, shoulders and head. It is also very beneficial for the condition of the hair and scalp, such as dry or greasy or even hair that is limp, flat, weak and brittle.

 You will be invited to draw a wrap towel around your chest and abdomin that covers all of your torso leaving your shoulders and back free to be worked on. There is no need to removed the bottom half of you clothing, only your t-shirt or blouse.

Sitting up right in a chair, your feet can be placed on a pillow on the floor. The massage begins with a back massage, moving on to the upper arms, neck and shoulders. From here a warm towel is placed over your shoulders to aid relaxation.

Now the scalp, head and hair area is worked with stimulating yet relaxing moves. Finally a facial drainage massage is carried out to perform the treatment.

This treatment can be changed and adapted to suit yourself, for example if you would rather miss out the facial massage, just let your therapist know. This treatment can also be altered so that specific areas can be worked more and other areas can be left out. Every indian head massage is as individual as you!
